2. So, why fresh milk, really?

Why use anything else? Fresh milk gives Cadbury Dairy Milk such a creamy taste and texture. Other chocolate bars are made with powdered milk. Surprised? Look at the ingredients list. But, for us, only fresh, liquid milk will do.

Real farmers with generations of expertise keep our factories supplied with fresh milk 365 days a year: 400,000 litres every day in Britain; 227,000 litres every day in Ireland.

More than 17,000 cows – some of them award winning - based in and around Wiltshire in the UK, and around our Rathmore site in Ireland, are dedicated to feeding the factories with delicious, fresh milk come rain or shine.

Why fresh milk? It’s simple, really.
